Hi All. I decided to create this blog to start collecting recipes I'm creating/collecting that are healthy and actually taste good! I'm a mommy of of under year old baby who never realized the scale could go so high after giving birth to a little one! What a shock was that. I mean I've never been a fan of scales anyways, but gaining 32 or so pounds for my 5ft frame body was a big toll on me.
So after the baby was born and I was done nursing I decided this baby weight had to go. I did the Jenny Craig diet thing for like 3 months which was great. I'm still on a low calorie diet, slowly losing 1 pound a week, but I'm okay with that. I feel good. Really good and I finally hit my 20 pounds weight loss!
So here comes the issue. The body looks good, the exercise is in place, I'm pretty good when I have to go out or do the holiday eating, but then I'm back onto the diet plan. My fear is now food! What the heck should I eat after this whole diet thing is done? I never want to get high on that scale again.
So I'm starting this new journey, fearful of food. Mostly because I love it soooo much. I'm trying to find great ways to eat, but while keeping that girlie figure I have grown to love. Hopefully you'll come join me and share in some healthy recipes!
